ALDIVORCE.COM, LLC, hereafter individually or collectively referred to as “ALDIVORCE.COM” or “ALDIVORCE” or the “Company” is an Alabama Limited Liability Company, offering online uncontested divorce settlement agreements and other related attorney authored documents for consumers and residents in Alabama, and those who qualify to file for uncontested divorce in Alabama.

By using ALDIVORCE and its website,, referred to as “the site” or “this site”, the consumer accepts and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. In addition, when using ALDIVORCE, the consumer shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services, which may be posted and modified from time to time at the sole discretion of ALDIVORCE. All such guidelines or rules are hereby incorporated by reference into this Terms of Use Agreement, referred to as “Terms of Use”.

CONSUMER: For the purpose of this Terms of Use Agreement, the word consumer is defined as any person who purchases services from ALDIVORCE for personal use, is over the age of nineteen (19) years, and a resident of Alabama.

ALDIVORCE is intended for and applicable ONLY for residents of the State of Alabama, U.S.A. If the consumer is from another jurisdiction, such consumer should not use this site.

ALDIVORCE does not provide legal advice, counsel, or legal representation to viewers or users of the site. ALDIVORCE does provide limited scope representation to its consumers in providing attorney authored divorce documents and compilation of uncontested divorce documents ONLY. The consumer understands purchasing any ALDIVORCE product creates a limited attorney-client relationship between the consumer and ALDIVORCE for the limited scope of providing attorney authored uncontested divorce documents ONLY. The answers the consumer provides to the questions are automatically populated into the attorney drafted uncontested divorce documents.

Since the documents received through ALDIVORCE are attorney authored documents, we must comply with Rule 1.2(c) of the Alabama Rules of Professional Conduct. Rule 1.2(c) states: “A lawyer may limit the scope of the representation if the limitation is reasonable under the circumstances and the client gives informed consent.”

By purchasing ALDIVORCE services, the consumer acknowledges and consents to ALDIVORCE providing attorney authored questions and compilation of uncontested divorce documents as the ONLY limited legal service herein provided, which specifically includes Divorce Complaint, Testimony of Plaintiff, Answer, Waiver and Agreement for taking Testimony, Settlement Agreement, Affidavit of Residency, proposed Divorce Decree, and custody/child support forms (if necessary). Furthermore, ALDIVORCE and/or its Parent Company DOES NOT REPRESENT the consumer or advise the consumer in relation to said documents or the divorce. By virtue of providing the limited scope representation and documents herein, the consumer acknowledges and agrees ALDIVORCE’s involvement is solely limited to providing attorney authored documents and compilation of the above stated documents ONLY.

At no time does ALDIVORCE and/or its Parent Company review the answers for legal sufficiency, draw legal conclusions, provide legal advice or apply the law to the facts of your particular case. ALDIVORCE provides limited scope representation by providing attorney authored questions and compilation of uncontested divorce documents ONLY. If the consumer has questions relating to a particular matter or needs legal advice independently or bundled with the legal documents, the consumer should seek out the advice of an independent attorney of their choice.

Once the uncontested divorce documents are completed and mailed to the consumers, the services provided by ALDIVORCE are completed and the limited scope representation has ended. ALDIVORCE does not provide legal services or representation in the actual divorce action or for any other purpose not herein stated.   If the consumer needs legal services beyond what is provided by ALDIVORCE, the consumer should seek the advice of and/or representation by another attorney.

ALDIVORCE asks specific attorney authored questions to gather information from the consumers in order to prepare the uncontested divorce documents required for each consumer. By asking certain questions, ALDIVORCE does not suggest any specific answer to said questions. ALDIVORCE is able to deliver complete uncontested divorce documents by compilation of information and answers the consumer provides. It is the sole responsibility of the consumer to provide accurate and truthful answers and information. It is imperative that the consumer follow the instructions provided and answer the questions honestly and accurately. Any misstatement or misrepresentation, intentional or otherwise, could cause the divorce petition and supporting documents to be rejected by the Clerk or the Court in your jurisdiction. If answers are truthful and the information the consumer provides is accurate, the pleadings and documents are generally acceptable for filing in Courts in the State of Alabama.

The consumer assumes all responsibility and obligation with respect to any decisions made as a result of the use of any form or document and for the selection of a form or document to achieve the consumer’s intended result. The consumer bears the burden for his/her own answers, choices, and action plans. Therefore, ALDIVORCE should not be used as a substitute for the advice of an attorney.   If the consumer has questions relating to his/her particular case or needs legal advice bundled with the legal documents, the consumer should contact an attorney.

Aldivorce is not responsible for reimbursement to consumers for the cost of its services, or obligated to make any corrections in the uncontested divorce petition and its related documents if consumer does not follow instructions provided. Furthermore, if the consumers’ uncontested divorce petition is not accepted for filing or rejected by the clerk or court of appropriate jurisdiction due to consumer providing wrong information or consumers misrepresentation, intentional or otherwise, Aldivorce will not be obligated to reimburse consumer.

This service is not for everyone.  Legal advice and representation are required in many divorces because of the complexity of the matter, the level of understanding of the person(s) involved, unequal bargaining power of the parties, and for many other reasons.  If there are any doubts as to whether or not these services should be utilized, seek the advice of an attorney.

Any participation on this site will constitute acceptance of this agreement. These Terms of Use constitute an agreement between the consumer and ALDIVORCE relating to the terms with which ALDIVORCE offers the information, software, products, and services available through this site. In order to receive ALDIVORCE services, the consumer must accept the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. If the consumer does not agree to these Terms and Conditions, then he/she should not use this site.

ALDIVORCE does not claim ownership of any documents the consumer either creates through ALDIVORCE or uploads and stores within the consumer’s account manager (“Documents”); nor will ALDIVORCE edit any of the Documents. The consumer grants permission for ALDIVORCE (including its affiliated companies and necessary sub-licensees) to use the Documents in connection with providing services referenced herein to the consumer.
